The MPYO is always looking to add more talent to its ensembles! The MPYO is open by audition to all elementary through high school musicians.
The MPYO aims to enhance students’ music education by improving students’ individual skills as well as the way they interact with conductors and an ensemble. Students will gain valuable high-level ensemble experience playing both classical and original repertoire.

Ensembles
The MPYO offers five ensembles: the full Youth Symphony, two strings-only ensembles, a flute choir, and a chamber wind ensemble. For details, click here.
Schedule
Rehearsals are held most Tuesday evenings during the school year at the Plymouth Arts and Recreation Complex (PARC) unless otherwise noted. For the full schedule for the current MPYO season, click here.

School Music Programs
The MPYO strongly encourages all students to participate in their own school music programs and ensembles. The MPYO is not intended to replace school programs, but to enhance and augment students’ music education by providing additional opportunities to perform challenging repertoire with professional conductors and instructors.
